This poem is addressed to all humans who are either devoid of values or have manipulated them to fit in this world’s dirty play……
War of Values
Over the juncture of thousand years,
Values have been molded to suit human desires,
“LYING IS SIN” was taught to us back in school,
But today whoever follows it are rated as fools.
“BRIBERY IS THE LATEST GOD”…. I read,
I wondered has human spirits gone dead,
Why stain His name to satisfy your greed,
Go ahead with your sins, but spare Him, I plead.
“BEING ANGRY IS SAME AS MURDER”… He says,
But you have killed these words in every possible ways,
One day you will repent and need a shoulder to cry,
Then you will find no one, except Him, I bet you can try.
Faith and trust I thought is still pure,
But guess what, my hope was shattered beyond any cure,
Humans!! Go on, but some day you will have to pay,
As it is not you but your deeds that will speak on Judgment day.
Mercy Lord, for these are your own children,
One who is diverting these minds is none other than Satan,
All these will return to you one day,
As you know that’s it’s simply values that’s going to stay.
